I’m a Data & BI Engineer with three years in production data systems, now deliberately moving into AI/LLM Engineering. I’m doing that transition the way I do everything else: build the fundamentals first, then ship something real on top of them. I’m currently an M.Sc. Media Engineering student at TU Ilmenau, Germany, working on neural audio codec research under Prof. Gerald Schuller, co-supervised with Andreas Brendel at Fraunhofer IIS Erlangen.
Before Ilmenau, I spent three years building and operating data infrastructure across e-commerce, telecom, and finance. At Razor Group (Berlin) I worked on data and BI systems for Amazon seller aggregation. Before that, at Teradata (Islamabad) I worked as a data engineer in the telecom domain, and at NETSOL Technologies (Islamabad) I built BI pipelines for enterprise data warehousing in leasing and finance. That work is where the SQL, Spark, Airflow, and dbt actually got hardened — not in a course.
Right now I’m applying that foundation to AI systems. My flagship project, LogiMind, is a multi-agent RAG system for querying public logistics operational data in natural language, built with AutoGen, LangChain, RAGAS, LangSmith, Qdrant, and FastAPI. In parallel, I’m upskilling deliberately across the modern LLM engineering stack — evaluation, retrieval, and agent orchestration — rather than treating it as a side interest.
